Palm Beach County Commissioner Mike Barnett Receives Endorsements From HISPAC and Hispanic Vote PAC
Greenacres, Fla. – District 3 is home to a large and diverse Hispanic community that has historically supported progressive candidates. Recently, Hispanic leaders from both sides of the political spectrum have come together to support incumbent District 3 Commissioner Michael “Mike” Barnett, who received the endorsements of Hispanic PAC and Hispanic Vote PAC.
“Fortunately, for the Hispanic community, Barnett embarked on a mission to win the hearts and minds of his critics, and it worked. Barnett has appointed more Hispanics to the county advisory boards than any other commissioner. When Barnett realized that the County Criminal Justice Commission had never included a Hispanic member, he rushed to appoint two Hispanics… In his two years as commissioner, he has done more for Hispanics in the district than many of his predecessors,” said Jorge Garrido, columnist for Noticias Atlantikas.
