Palestine Protestors Storm DNC Day 1

The 2024 DNC officially kicked off in Chicago last night, with the security measures Democrats won’t even advocate for the country failing to stem the tide.

Against the backdrop of boarded-up businesses and high fences, the 2024 Democratic National Convention began. Before the doors even opened, Pro-Palestine protestors began protesting and tearing down the large fences the party had put up days prior, validating the concerns of their destructive intent.

Eventually, even the Chicago police were forced to intervene, cementing the Democrat’s unenviable position between the rock and hard place of their hard left and moderate wings.

The issue was visualized by one X user, who documented, “More people were marching outside the DNC with Palestinian flags than were inside the arena when the convention started.”

One X user mocked the DNC with a Kamala Harris parody account, pointing out that the security measures used to try (and fail) to protect the convention are the same measures the party has railed against to protect the country.

Inside the convention, the picture wasn’t any prettier.

According to the Daily Wire, speakers from AOC to Hillary Clinton took the stage to praise VP Kamala Harris as “heroic.”

Clinton went so far as to praise Harris for caring about children and families, even while Democrat Narratives continue to lambast JD Vance for his pro-family rhetoric and policy. One X user pointed out another aspect of the glaring hypocrisy.

However, possibly the most hotly contested aspect of the convention is its purpose: to replace the primary winner, Joe Biden, with the de facto nominee, Kamala Harris. Even CNN dogpiled on the President, the inherently humiliating nature of his speech on night one, and his record (inadvertently attacking Kamala as well).

“Biden is known in his career as being one of the best eulogy givers at funerals, and now they’re making him come and give his own eulogy at this convention…. he was bullied of this race after 52 years of service to the Democratic Party. And it wasn‘t all about his age. He was unpopular. He was going to lose. It was Afghanistan. It was inflation. It was immigration. And he had to be dragged out by his fingernails,” Scott Jennings said.
