A new law being proposed by Republican Senator Roger Marshall has many people exclaiming relief and approval, while others are not so happy.
The new law, known as the One Flag for All Act, will make it illegal to fly, drape or display any flag other than the American flag on federal buildings or properties, with limited exceptions. Some exceptions include flags representing the nation of a visiting diplomat, flags representing the state of a member of Congress, the POW/MIA flag at military installations, and others. This new law comes in response to the Biden administration’s bold decision to fly the pride flag more prominently than the American flag over the weekend during a gay pride celebration at the White House.
A few days after seeing the shameful measure on the capital lawn, Marshall said in a Fox News Digital interview that it is a sad state of affairs in the US and that the American flag should never be undermined.
It’s a sad state of affairs when the White House prioritizes their radical social agenda over patriotism, The American flag stands for liberty and justice for all and should never be undermined by anyone, especially the President of the United States. Old Glory must reign supreme as a symbol of our nation’s freedom that thousands of our servicemembers, and veterans have fought and died to protect.
He then went on to explain the purpose of his act, ensuring that this kind of disrespect towards the American flag will not happen again under this new law.
The One Flag For All Act ensures that the American Flag never gets sidelined for culture wars and political points and remains the sole symbol of our nation’s freedom and sacrifices.

On the day of the incident, Marshall tweeted about the Biden administration’s decision, stating that this decision was a ‘disgrace’ and was ‘in breach of the US Flag code.’

He then received a lot of criticism since the photo he used crops out the flying US flag about all three flags, making it not a violation of the US flag code. Even with this criticism, other politicians and political figures still agreed with the original purpose of his message, with Tulsi Gabbard tweeting in agreement with Marshall.

One could argue that the US flag code was not violated, which is a valid criticism. Still, at the end of the day, this kind of activity is very disrespectful to the US flag, which has an intense and hard-fought history, so to disrespect the flag on the white house in this fashion is completely disgraceful. The Biden administration should feel shame for performing such an act.

It is unclear how the Biden administration will react to the new law being passed or if they will issue an apology for the grotesque Pride display on the white house lawn.
