Musk Announces New Twitter CEO – DEI Aficionado Named as Replacement

Famous billionaire and eccentric Twitter CEO Elon Musk recently announced that the renowned website he spent 44 billion dollars to acquire is now getting a new CEO – and one that has a history with the infamous World Economic Forum and a series of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Following a vague announcement that Twitter was getting a new CEO (notably lacking any names), users began rampant speculating that the new CEO would be someone named Linda Yaccarino – speculations that would inevitably prove correct, as Musk would announce Friday morning.

#RipTwitter became the number one most-used hashtag on the social media giant shortly after the news was announced.

Though Yaccarino will likely provide more “calm” leadership, the online masses have dug up Yaccarino’s history and found some unflattering facts about her that make many skeptical.

In particular, users are worried her resume makes her likely to turn Twitter “back” to the days of Yoel Roth, where the left worked uninhibited, and the mainstream media narrative was the only one allowed.

Twitter has since become a sort of free-speech haven on the internet and the only of its kind on such a massive, billion-dollar scale.

Yaccarino has ties to the World Economic Forum, a massive pro-globalist organization, and appears to support many of the same agendas as the famously censorship-prone Twitter that existed before its acquisition by Elon Musk.

“I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter! Linda will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology. Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app.” ~Elon Musk on Twitter

Elon Musk launched a poll with some 17 million participants in which he wanted users to decide whether he should remain CEO late last year after a controversial early stint as head of the company.

After a similar poll led to the unbanning of Donald Trump, the masses on Twitter refused to miss this opportunity to punish the South African billionaire for his unapologetically pro-free-speech activities and policies.

Musk seems to be acknowledging the rumors indirectly – saying that Yaccarino is indeed coming but that Twitter’s new focus on free speech will remain in place. How Yaccarino and Musk’s visions will collide remains to be seen – though many find it difficult to overlook Yaccarino’s DEI and WEF records.

According to Musk, the DEI advocate will officially take over as CEO of Twitter in approximately six weeks.

A bright spot that many have pointed out is Yaccarino’s record as both a progressive and right-winger. The incoming CEO has a history with President Trump’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition and several DEI organizations.

The reaction to the news has been highly mixed, with many users who loved the new hyper-focus on freedom of ideas being concerned that Twitter’s “golden age” will come to an abrupt end.
