More Antisemitic Flyers Found in Palm Beach County, Florida Neighborhood – Suspects Cited
Five men using a rented U-Haul pickup truck allegedly threw about 150 Antisemitic Flyers into people’s yards and driveways on Saturday in the Old Northwood neighborhood of West Palm Beach, along 25th through 37th streets.
West Palm Beach Police stopped the pickup and cited 60-year-old David Young Kim of West Palm Beach, 40-year-old Jon Eugene Minadeo of West Palm Beach, 57-year-old Jeffrey Kidder Allen of Wisconsin, 46-year-old Brian Keith Hulliger of Bradenton and 33-year-old Nicholas Allen Bysheim of Maryland.

The flyers were placed inside plastic bags and were weighed down by pellets. This is the second time this neighborhood has seen these flyers distributed in a few months, and residents are upset.
One of the flyers criticized House Bill 269, a bill that Republican State Representative Michael Caruso proposed.
The bill would prevent the distribution of “any material that evidences religious or ethnic animus for the purpose of intimidating or threatening owner or resident.”

According to the West Palm Beach Police Department PIO, Mike Jachles, the department has cited five men for littering in relation to this incident.
“We certainly have no place for hate in West Palm Beach…this is a welcoming city. It’s a diverse city, and the message is if they want to do something like this, do it somewhere else or don’t do it at all, actually, so we will enforce the laws that are on the books,” said Jachles.
Jachles said officers were able to track down the five individuals responsible for throwing the flyers shortly after they left the neighborhood. He said officers conducted a traffic stop on a rented U-Haul truck in downtown West Palm Beach. Each person in the truck was issued multiple citations, including littering and pedestrian violations.
“We understand freedom of expression, we understand First Amendment rights, and while we may not agree with things, we certainly have no place for hate in West Palm Beach,” Jachles said Saturday.
According to West Palm Beach Police Department, when officers confronted the five people, they became verbally aggressive and, according to police, were yelling racial slurs at officers.
Although the five were only cited, Jachles said any statements they receive from residents about unwanted material in their yard could be considered an additional littering violation, costing the person responsible upwards of $150.
“If they feel they are being targeted, if they’ve received this and don’t know what to do and want us to pursue it, they can call the West Palm Beach police number,” Jachles said.
