Moms for Liberty Labeled ‘HATE GROUP’ by Liberal Senators
Parental rights advocacy group Moms for Liberty has recently been labeled as a ‘hate group’ by a band of liberal state senators, who requested they be disinvited from attending an event hosted by the Museum of the American Revolution.
Moms for Liberty initially gained recognition for their resistance to school closures and draconian regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic but has since grown to oppose left-wing indoctrination in schools overall, including curriculum on gender, sexual orientation, and liberal racial theories. The group also regularly advocates removing pornographic and sexually inappropriate books from school libraries. Moms for Liberty had grown so large that it was invited to be hosted by the Museum of the American Revolution.
However, Pennsylvania Senator Nikil Saval and five other Senators condemned Moms for Liberty as a ‘hate group’ and petitioned for its disinviting by the museum.
“Moms for Liberty is a hate group. @AmREvMuseum is hosting them next week for a welcome event. I’m proud to join @SenJimmyDillon,@SenatorHughes, @SenSharifStreet, @SenTartaglione, and @SenTonyWilliams in urging the Museum to cancel this event and stay true to its stated values.”

The written statement claimed that the comparisons of Moms for Liberty to “the white supremacists of the mid-20th century are well deserved” by arguing the organization’s opposition to the values of Critical race theory and age-inappropriate instruction on sex and gender is evidence of this.
The letter accused the group of “threatening and violent rhetoric” for offering bounties to those who could catch teachers instructing with curriculum against state law and for some actual threats issued by individuals claiming membership, not the group itself.
This is not an isolated incident. The Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization tied to the FBI’s recently-exposed spying operations on catholic churches as breeding grounds for extremism, labeled Moms for Liberty as hateful earlier in June. In its condemnation, the SPLC does its best to twist the organization’s vocal opposition to age-inappropriate content in school and children’s entertainment into a scandal.
“Since the group’s 2021 founding, Moms for Liberty members across the nation have been making waves for intimidating and harassing teachers and school officials. They have publicly battled teachers’ unions, labeling them as ‘cartels’ and ‘terrorist organizations.’ They condemn corporations, like The Walt Disney Co., that are supportive of the LGBTQ community.”
Books include explicit, non-scientifically educational content and illustrations of sex acts between characters.
Books in libraries across the country. The school boards won’t even let parents read them in the meetings because children are present…”this book is gay” teaches them how to get on Grinder…why? pic.twitter.com/1k0xLwNPne

Moms for Liberty co-founders Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich rejected the hate group label and the other accusations in a recent statement.
“Name-calling parents who want to be a part of their child’s education as ‘hate groups’ or ‘bigoted’ just further exposes what this battle is all about Who fundamentally gets to decide what is taught to our kids in school — parents or government employees?”
Multiple Twitter users also chimed in, scoffing at the characterization of the parent’s group.

Some users claimed these senators had become “oath-breakers” for attempting to silence First Amendment-protected speech as government members.
