Mom of Murder Victims Let Loose by Alvin Bragg Eviscerates House Democrats [VIDEO]

The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on Monday to discuss the recent spike of violent crime in New York City, allegedly fueled largely by soft-on-crime Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who recently indicted former President Donald Trump.

House Republicans have been engaged in a war of words with Bragg after Trump’s indictment, with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Oh. attempting to subpoena former Manhattan prosecutor Mark Pomerantz about the indictment.

You're trying to insult me like I'm not aware of what's going on here. I'm fully aware of what's going on here, OK? That's why I walked away from the plantation of the Democratic Party ~Madeline Brame Click to Tweet

House Democrats attempted to impugn the motives of House Republicans and claimed that the hearings were done to discredit Bragg after Trump’s indictment.

“You can pretend that you aren’t here on Donald Trump’s behalf, but you cannot stop the New York criminal justice system from running its course—and you will not intimidate New Yorkers with your brief visit to our city.” Said ranking House Judiciary Committee member Jerry Nadler, D-Ny.

Madeline Brame, Chairwoman of the Victims Rights Reform Council and mother of a homicide victim in New York, testified at the hearing. She laid into Bragg for letting her son’s two killers walk free.

“When Alvin Bragg came into office, he was handed a strong, trial-ready case. As soon as he took office, the case immediately began to unravel. He completely dismissed gang assault and murder indictments against two of the defendants clearly on video participating in the brutal, savage slaughter of my son!

If that’s not a threat to public safety, I don’t know what is!” She said.

Representative Dan Goldman, D-Ny. attempting to downplay Brame’s testimony, saying that the hearing was a ‘charade to cover up for an abuse of power’ and that the real purpose of the investigation was to ‘cover up’ their investigation into Bragg.

“We’re not insulting you. Your experiences are devastating, but the problem is, is that this is a charade to cover up for an abuse of power. [Republicans] are going around incessantly, outside of this hearing, about Donald Trump, and the purpose of this hearing is to cover up for what they know to be an inappropriate investigation [into District Attorney Alvin Bragg],” Goldman said.

Brame attempted to respond to Goldman, and he cut her off.

“Can I respond to you, please?” Brame asked as Goldman attempted to move on.

“Not right now, because I only have 20 seconds, I’m sorry. But I, I do–” Goldman said.

Brame interrupted Goldman and did not hold back, saying that he was attempting to insult her ‘intelligence’ and that Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies and lack of compassion for crime victims are why she walked away from the ‘plantation’ of the Democratic Party.

“Don’t insult my intelligence,” Brame interjected as Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, attempted to maintain order. “You’re trying to insult me like I’m not aware of what’s going on here. I’m fully aware of what’s going on here, OK? That’s why I walked away from the plantation of the Democratic Party.”
