Michael Barnett Takes Oath of Office Turning Palm Beach County Commission Red
The excitement on the sixth floor was undeniable as we witnessed Michael Barnett get sworn in as County Commissioner for District 3, giving the GOP a 4-3 majority.
Palm Beach County is officially “red.” Michael Barnett completes the Republican majority on the Palm Beach County Commission, joining Commissioners Marino, Baxter, and Woodward.
Baxter and Woodward reminisced about their time as candidates under Barnett’s leadership as Chair of the Republican Executive Committee of Palm Beach County. Commissioner Marino welcomed him and said she was ready to work for the county.
From Barnett’s family to REC members to friends and supporters, there was no denying the excitement and joy for our new commissioner.
