Liberal activist tries and fails to hurt DeSantis with doctored video on Mar-a-Lago raid
The liberal media and liberal activists have repeatedly attempted to sow discord between the Republican Party’s two most prominent rock stars: President Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
The Lincoln Project released an advertisement aimed at pitting Trump against DeSantis by claiming that DeSantis betrayed Trump to ‘become a star’.

In May, Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried and her Communications Director were caught amplifying a fake e-mail from Governor DeSantis on their Twitter accounts. The phony e-mail was targeted at DeSantis’ supporters and asked if they would support him if he ran for President.
fyi was made aware i tweeted a scam email. Deleted the tweet. Apologies.

Now, a Democratic activist was caught doctoring a video that made it appear as if DeSantis was defending the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
The video appears to show DeSantis arguing with FOX News host Sean Hannity.

DeSantis can be heard saying, “It is not a raid – they were serving valid process in accordance with the laws and constitution of the United States.”
“To say it’s a raid is disinformation,” he says, as Hannity is supposedly interrupted by DeSantis saying, “Excuse me, excuse me.”
Burke claimed it was common sense that the video was fake, but many liberal Twitter users in the replies didn’t seem to get the memo.
“DeSantis is taking this opportunity to slide right into the GOP nomination for POTUS,” one user said, garnering almost 1,000 likes. “Trump is toast.”
The user likely realized the video was doctored and deleted their Tweet.
“Why are Sean Hannity and Steven Tyler arguing with Ron Desantis?” another said.

“OMG!! How great is that? It’s difficult to believe that Ron DeSantis actually stood up for the rule of law… Hannity cut him off as soon as he could & did not let him get the last word! Laura was not happy!” one user said.
OMG!!! How great is that? It's difficult to believe that Ron DeSantis actually stood up for the rule of law considering how many times he's completely ignored it in his own state. Hannity cut him off as soon as he could & did not let him get the last word! Laura was not happy!👍

The doctored footage of DeSantis defending a ‘raid’ was from 2020 when law enforcement agents raided fake ‘whistleblower’ Rebekah Jones’ home.
The agents were looking for a message she sent on a state government communication system.

Jones was arrested and charged with a felony in 2021 after turning herself in to a Leon County Detention Facility.
Burke has a history of dishonesty and doctoring videos to smear political opponents.
FOX News Correspondent Bill Melugin alleges that Burke doctored a video of him in the aftermath of the Uvalde shooting.
This is the same guy who edited one of my live shots at the Uvalde school shooting down to 6 seconds to try to make it sound like I was spreading a rumor rather than refuting it. He is now manipulating these clips to make it look real, and people are falling for it.

As DeSantis’ profile continues to rise, it is clear that his opponents will get more desperate to take him down, even if that means making things up about him.
