Kidnapped Alabama Girl Beaten, Bound, and Found in Florida
Coby Jerome Jordan, 22, and his accomplice Molly Michelle Jarret, 19, are in the Houston County, Alabama jail awaiting extradition to the Florida Jackson County jail after the pair allegedly arranged to kidnap a teenage girl, transport her across the state line to Florida, where she was beaten, bound, and dumped under a tree, Jackson County deputies said.

Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded about 6:15 AM on Saturday to a call from a nearby resident about a possible abduction. When they arrived at the location, deputies discovered the kidnapped girl with her hands tied behind her back, sitting under a tree.
Coby Jerome Jordan “picked up” the minor a day earlier in Houston County, Alabama which is just across the Florida-Alabama border. He took the girl to Florida and met up with two women, including Molly Michelle Jarrett.
The victim was taken to an abandoned building at around 1:00 AM, where Jordan allegedly beat her and bound her hands and feet, according to the report. A short time later, the girl was dropped off under a tree.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office stated that Jordan was charged with robbery, false imprisonment, tampering with a victim and battery.
Jarrett was charged with principal in the first-degree count to robbery, principal in the first degree to false imprisonment, principal in the first degree to tampering with a victim, and principal in the first degree to battery.

Girls, when you see creatures like this, you have two options: to run or… to run. I have one more (preferred), but if I say it my account on Twitter will be shot down… pic.twitter.com/rFG7GVjCtn— Mike (@mike_chernov) November 7, 2022
At the time of her arrest, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office photos show Jarret dressed in a black leotard, a purple wig and a superhero cape. I was informed that this is the costume of the DC Comics Superhero “Raven” and not as I thought, a flying eggplant.
A Sheriff’s spokesperson could not say how old the victim was, other than that she was a teenager under the age of 18 and could not speak to the circumstances of the girl’s meeting with Jordan.
It was unclear if the victim knew any of the suspects before Friday.
