Is Anything Secret? Classified Documents Found in Vice President Mike Pence’s Home
Former Vice President Mike Pence is in hot water after a “small number” of documents bearing classified markings were discovered in his Indiana home. During a search, Pence’s lawyer, Greg Jacobs, found the documents last week and turned them over to the FBI. Jacobs wrote a letter to the National Archives on Wednesday saying,
“The additional records appear to be a small number of documents bearing classified markings that were inadvertently boxed and transported to the personal home of the former Vice President at the end of the last Administration… Pence was unaware of the existence of sensitive or classified documents at his personal residence.”

Pence had ordered the search in light of President Joe Biden’s ongoing classified documents scandal. Biden was found to be in possession of classified documents from his vice presidential years in five different searches since November. Presidents and vice presidents are expected to turn over classified material to the federal government at the end of their term.
Trump, Biden… and now Pence
It’s pretty likely that everyone in DC has classified documents
Yet the only one who got raided was the guy with authority to declassify
Even the Soviets were less brazen

Mike Pence and Joe Biden didn't have authority to be in possession of classified documents.
President Trump had full authority to have all of his documents.

Pence told the Associated Press last August that he did not possess any classified documents from his time in the White House.
Pence criticized Donald Trump last November after FBI agents raided his Mar-a-Lago residence searching for classified documents,
“there’d be no reason to have classified documents, particularly if they were in an unprotected area.”
Pence then reiterated to ABC News that he had no classified documents.
Remember when Mike Pence slammed President Trump for having classified documents?
Looks like Mike is the lying hypocrite we always knew he was.

In an interview with Fox Business earlier this month, Pence described his handling of classified materials while he was in the White House,
“I’d go to the safe where my military aide would place those classified materials. I’d pull them out, review them. I’d receive a presentation [on] them and then frankly, more often than not… I would simply return them back to the file that I’d received them in… The handling of classified materials and the nation’s secret is a very serious matter and as a former vice president of the United States, I can speak from personal experience about the attention that ought to be paid to those materials when you’re in office and after you leave office.”
Mike Pence having classified documents is the only proof we have that he had things to do while he was Vice President.

Just six days before discovering the classified documents on his property, Pence teased a possible White House run in a CBS News interview. It is unclear whether the ongoing investigation will affect his plans.
