Howard Grad-‘Biden & Harris Don’t Care About Black People,’ Leads Protest

President Joe Biden went viral over the weekend for his commencement speech at Howard University where he falsely proclaimed white supremacy to be the “most dangerous” threat to America. While initially appearing to receive overwhelming applause from the historically black college’s student body, however, new photos have surfaced that paint a different picture. Amid the endless pandering to the university’s graduating class, several students took the opportunity to protest by standing up and turning their backs on the President.

Standing just feet in front of Biden and his podium, one student turned to face the audience before tipping his grad cap, revealing the words,

“Biden and Harris don’t care about black people.”

While the President continued his remarks, at least two other graduates were seen joining in, holding paper signs that appeared to reference the death of Jordan Neely in New York. “A black child was lynched yesterday!” said one sign, while another read “Stand up, Fight Back, Black People Under Attack.”

While the majority of the Howard University audience offered applause for Biden’s comments, the false assertion that white supremacy is the “most dangerous terrorist threat” to America drew widespread backlash.

In his speech, Biden first told the crowd that “American history has not always been a fairytale.”

“But on the best days, enough of us have the guts and the hearts… to stand up against the poison of white supremacy, as I did in my Inaugural Address — to single it out as the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy.”

“And I’m not saying this because I’m at a Black HBCU,” Biden added. “I say it wherever I go.”

During the graduation ceremony, Biden was bestowed with an honorary doctorate degree from Howard University, on the grounds of his “analytical intellect” and “popularity on both sides,” according to the school’s president, Dr. Wayne Frederick.

“Admired for your sound analytical intellect and open embrace for all, your popularity on both sides of the aisle of the United States led to your illustrious reputation and outstanding service of 36 years as a Democratic senator from Delaware beginning at a tender age of 29.”

“Was there any part of Biden’s visit that didn’t sound like trolling?” Republican consultant Matt Whitlock tweeted following the commencement.

“Between the ‘popularity on both sides of the aisle’ and Biden’s phony condemnation of ‘those who seek to divide us’ (while his twitter account accuses R’s of shoving grandma off a cliff) this feels like parody.”

“There is no way this guy is talking about Joe Biden,” GOP comms professional Nathan Brand added.
