Gov. DeSantis suspends ‘woke’ State Attorney Andrew Warren
George Soros-backed State Attorney Andrew Warren has been suspended from all duties by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
At a news conference in front of Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, DeSantis discussed the reasons for the suspension and that it was done in response to Warren’s and State Attorneys’ across the country failing to enforce the laws. DeSantis said Warren “put himself publicly above the law.”
“In June of 2021, he signed a letter saying that he would not enforce any prohibitions on sex change operations for minors.” “[Sex changes] are really disfiguring these young kids and he said ‘It doesn’t matter what the legislature does in the state of Florida.”
“Our government is a government of laws, not a government of men,” “When you make yourself above the law, you have violated your duty.” DeSantis said.
“We don’t elect people in one part of the state to have veto power over what the entire state decides on these important issues. […] Today, we are suspending State Attorney, Andrew Warren effective immediately.”

Progressive prosecutors backed by Soros have refused to enforce laws across the country. They treat criminals with deference & victims with contempt. This dereliction of duty is why crime is surging. But @GovRonDeSantis won’t stand for this. He just suspended the one in Florida.
