Representative Kat Cammack, R-Fl. had some choice words this week for Biden’s handling of the border crisis.
Republicans plan to hold hearings with members of the Biden Department of Homeland Security and the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency.
Democrats have called the move a “publicity stunt.”
Cammack hit back this Wednesday during a FOX News interview.
“It’s absolutely absurd coming from an administration that they have done absolutely nothing but facilitate the trafficking of children and drugs across our southern border,” Cammack furiously replied.

“They have done absolutely nothing, and now they’re going to reap what they sow,” said Rep. Cammack.
The United States has faced a nearly unprecedented crisis at the border under President Biden.
For the second year in a row under his administration, the United States is set to break records for the number of illegal immigrants apprehended at the border.
The number of illegal immigrants who have crossed the border under Biden is set to hit 2 million in Fiscal Year 2022.

Not only has Biden made it more difficult to prevent illegal entry into the United States, he has also used executive orders to weaken the ability of DHS officials to remove illegal immigrants once they are in the United States.
“Mayorkas has eviscerated our interior immigration enforcement apparatus—meaning that once an illegal alien enters our country, they become virtually impossible to remove,” Said Matthew Tragesser of the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

Cammack has been one of the leading immigration hawks in the House, echoing former President Donald Trump’s argument that immigration policies should put the interests of Americans first.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Ca. who is attempting to get votes from more conservative Republicans in the House to secure his position as Speaker of the House once Republicans take the majority in January, vowed to start impeachment hearings for Biden Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
