JESSE PISORS has been selected by the Pasco-Hernando State College Board of Trustees to become the college’s president in January. Pisors has served as vice president of Texas A&M University-San Antonio and the University of Houston-Victoria.
HARRY MOON has been selected by the Nova Southeastern University Board of Trustees to become the university’s president on Jan. 1, 2025. Moon is the university’s executive vice president and chief operating officer
CHAD MIZELLE, RICK JOYCE, KYMBERLEE CURRY SMITH AND JOHN “MARTIN” HAYES have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Elections Commission. Mizelle is chief legal officer of Affinity Partners. Joyce is president of Central Florida Mediators, LLC. Smith is an attorney for the city of Fort Lauderdale Code Enforcement Board. Hayes is a partner with Akerman, LLP.
TODD DELMAY has been named executive director of the LGBTQ-advocacy group SAVE. Delmay has served as executive director of The SMART Ride.

MATTHEW MCCLAIN has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Marion County Commission. McClain, of Ocala, is a chief lLegislative aide for Sen. Dennis Baxley, R-Eustis.
FLINT JOHNS AND NOAH HANDLEY have been promoted at Lykes Bros. Inc. Johns, who has worked as ranch manager, will serve as vice president of ranch and agriculture operations. Handley, whose positions have included director of engineering, will serve as vice president of engineering and land management.
BEAU MUNIZ has been appointed to the 2023-2024 class of White House Fellows. Muniz, who is from Orlando, was a consultant at Bain and Company.
ROBERT PANEPINTO has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Development Finance Corp. Panepinto is managing partner and chief investment officer of Govo Venture Partners.
LISA HILL has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children. Hill, of Fort Walton Beach, is a substitute teacher for the Okaloosa County public schools.
SARAH CLEMMONS, WILANNE DANIELS, ALLEN HARKINS, CHARLES HUDSON JR. AND JOHN MILTON have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Jackson County Hospital District. Clemmons is president of Chipola College. Daniels is the Jackson County administrator. Harkins is owner of Food N Fun, Inc. Hudson is a regional market executive for First Commerce Credit Union. Milton is a real estate sales associate.
LOUIE “LAVON” PETTIS, ROBERT REIFF, JOSEPH SHERREL AND HENRY “KEITH” WILLIAMS have been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Jackson County Hospital District. Pettis is the lead pastor for Evangel Church. Reiff is a real estate appraiser for Brown-Reiff Associates, Inc. Sherrel is a physician at Pediatric Associates in Marianna. Williams is owner and an insurance agent at Keith Williams State Farm Agency.
