Florida Man Unleashes Fury and Firearm Over Simple Back-Up

Florida man Terry Vetsch, 60, of Palm Coast, was arrested for aggravated assault after he pointed a gun at a woman’s head and threatened to kill her because a friend of hers backed into his driveway, Flagler Sheriff’s Office said.

Vetsch was in his office when he saw the car back into his driveway on his video recording system. He then went into the bedroom, grabbed the gun, and headed outside.

According to the two victims involved and the video, Vetsch approached them from his home on Wood Ash Lane, yelling and armed with a pistol after one of the victims had briefly used Vetsch’s driveway to backup their White Ford Escape.

Vetsch thought the man in the car was his neighbor, with whom he had had multiple disputes in the past, but it was not the case.

As Vetsch went Across the street, he used his Taurus 9mm to strike the back window on the Ford, screaming at the driver: “Get your piece of s— out of my f—ing driveway!”

The motorist’s female friend, standing nearby, then approached Vetsch to confront him, at which time he pointed the gun at her head, as seen in Vetsch’s Nest video.

Vetsch then pointed his gun at the victim’s head and continued to argue with them.

Deputy Munoz responded to Vetsch’s home on Wood Ash Ln. Vetsch said he thought the victims were his neighbor, with whom he had had several arguments before.

With Vetsch’s permission, Deputy Munoz reviewed the Nest surveillance video of the incident. It showed the victim following Vetsch toward his property while arguing, but they had not trespassed when Vetsch pointed the gun at their head.

The victim told the cops that Vetsch “threatened to shoot and kill her” and added that she was in fear for her life, according to the arrest affidavit.

“Not controlling your anger does not work out most of the time. In this case, it landed an individual in the Green Roof Inn,” added Sheriff Staly.
