Florida keys residents Angela Viviana Velez Vazquez, 20, and Steven Lopez, 31, both of Marathon, are in the Monroe County Jail in Key West after deputies said an apparent threesome ended up getting a little bit out of hand.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Adam Linhardt said that Vazquez and Lopez were in bed with the victim, described only as a 29-year-old woman. There was a disagreement while the three were in bed together amid a “romantic interlude” at the suspects’ residence.

He said the argument became more heated and eventually turned violent, and Steven Lopez, 31, and Angela Viviana Velez Vazquez, 20, allegedly battered the victim.
The argument continued outside the residence because Linhardt stated that Lopez also threw a cinder block through the rear window of the victim’s car while she was driving away from the home.
According to jail records, deputies later arrested the pair at their residence in the 11000 block of Second Avenue Ocean in Marathon.

Lopez was transported to the Key West Jail and faces a felony charge of throwing a deadly missile. He is still in jail, and his bond was $5,000. His court date is March 21st at 0900 Hours.
Velez Vazquez was transported to the Key West Jail and faced a battery charge. She is still in jail, and her bond was $10,000. Her court date has been set for March 23rd at 0900 Hours.

Linhardt said that a sheriff’s office news release doesn’t specify what the three argued about in bed, and no one was seriously hurt.
