The Florida Republican Party released a blistering advertisement on Thursday highlighting Democratic Gubernatorial nominee Charlie Crist’s unwavering support for Biden’s policies.
The advertisement attacks Crist’s support for Biden’s economic policies that have caused runaway inflation, his support for Biden’s crime policies that have caused skyrocketing crime, and his support for Biden’s immigration policies that have caused chaos at the border.
“Joe Biden’s policies are hurting Americans,” the ad starts, showing Biden at his now infamous speech in Philadelphia. Then, it shows Biden going in for a hug with Crist, “And Charlie Crist voted with Biden 100% of the time.”
“Crist voted to support Biden’s open border policies. Criminals, gangs, and drugs are pouring in, and fentanyl is killing Americans at record levels.”
Biden has broken the record for the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border in both years of his Presidency, with 1.82 million arrests being made at the border so far in the Fiscal Year 2022.

Immigration experts say that Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are largely to blame for the current immigration crisis.
“Mayorkas has eviscerated our interior immigration enforcement apparatus—meaning that once an illegal alien enters our country, they become virtually impossible to remove,” -Matthew Tragesser of the Federation for American Immigration Reform
Charlie Crist’s campaign team called the advertisement a ‘disgusting attack’ on immigrant children while giving no solutions to the record-breaking levels of illegal immigration that Crist has helped to facilitate.
“The GOP’s latest ad is a disgusting attack on innocent immigrant children whose families brought them to the U.S. in search for a better life,” Crist spokeswoman Samantha Ramirez said. “Charlie Crist proudly supports a pathway to citizenship for DREAMers, that’s why he voted for the American Dream and Promise Act.”
Crist’s Policy Director tweeted that DeSantis is putting ‘big bucks’ behind an ad that calls illegal immigrants criminals.
You got Nuñez talking about busing Cubans out of Miami, and now DeSantis is putting big bucks behind an ad comparing DREAMers to criminals.

DeSantis has been using his record-shattering fundraising haul to start an advertising blitz that highlights his response to the Covid-19 pandemic and his education policies while attacking Crist’s record as a Congressman and former Governor of Florida.
Earlier this week, he released an advertisement where Floridians from different walks of life thanked him for what he’s accomplished as Governor.
