Florida Bear Steals Chick-fil-A from Florida Man
Florida man Paul Newman got a surprise Wednesday when a “Hangry” Florida bear, we’ll call him “Yogi,” apparently got a whiff of some food and came wandering up to the front door of his Seminole County home. The bear ignored all of Newman’s Christmas decorations on the porch and then helped himself to Newman’s recently delivered Chick-fil-A order.

Newman’s doorbell camera caught the theft in real-time as Newman watched the Bear steal his food while giving his Facebook friends a play-by-play of the theft footage.
In the video, Newman says, “30 nuggets and a large order of fries.” The bear left a second bag alone, and Newman Stated in the video, “He didn’t want the salad, though,” “Nothing to do with the salad, Hmm…Weird.”
Newman’s wife joined in on Facebook, stating, “Aren’t these guys supposed to be hibernating instead of stealing our food???”
Yogi has gotten tired of hunting for picnic baskets to grab and has taken all his business to Door Dash now.

In part two of the video, Newman shows everyone the trash Yogi left behind after finishing Newman’s meal. Yogi ate everything, but who knew bears liked Chick-fil-A?
No word if Newman placed another Chick-fil-A order that evening.
Bear sightings in Seminole County are common as the county is close to the Wekiva River basin and the Ocala Forest. Bears are sighted frequently in the area going through residential garbage cans, and some residents have been caught feeding the bears!
According to Florida Wildlife Officers, there are approximately 4,000 black bears in the state, with the largest concentration of Bears living in the Seminole County area. The county has so many bear sightings that the City of Oviedo calls Seminole County “Bear Country.”
Residents are asked to report any bear sightings to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission at 352-732-1225.
