Florida and Georgia Man Exchange Shots During Road Rage – Shoot Each Other’s Daughters

In a case that makes my head hurt, Florida man Frank Allison, 43, of Callahan, Florida, and Georgia man William Hale, 35, of Douglas, Georgia exchanged gunfire during a road rage incident. Instead of hitting each other, both of them wounded the other man’s daughter who were passengers in their vehicles.

The shooting occurred on U.S. 1 near Callahan at around 6 p.m. That’s when Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said the Sheriff’s communications center “received multiple 911 calls with reports of people being shot at.” According to deputies, the pair were firing shots at each other while driving, weaving in and out of traffic.

Prior to the shooting, witnesses said the pair were involved in a “cat and mouse game.” the men were brake-checking each other, and at one point, Hale pulled his Dodge alongside the Nissan and started shouting. Then Allison’s wife, Jessica, gave Hale the middle finger, and in response, a water bottle was fired back at her.

Allegedly Allison allegedly pulled a Sig Sauer .45 caliber handgun out and fire one round, which went through the right rear passenger door of Hale’s Dodge and struck Hale’s 5-year-old daughter in the leg, according to the sheriff. Allison then drove away at a normal speed. Initially, Hale heard a loud pop and didn’t think much of it until his daughter started freaking out because she had just been shot in the leg.

Hale then reportedly gunned it, caught up with Allison, pulled his Glock 43 9mm, and fired several shots from the driver’s window, striking the Nissan three times. One of the rounds struck his 14-year-old daughter in the back, who was in the rear seat of the Nissan.

Both men then stopped their vehicles and began arguing while their children sat injured in the back seats. Their wives called 911, and deputies caught up to this circus and broke up the fight. Deputies called fire rescue to treat the girls for gunshot wounds, with the 14-year-old suffering from a collapsed lung.

‘Thankfully, no one was killed in this incident, but it could have very easily turned out that way because two people were acting stupid and let their tempers get the best of them. There could have been two dead kids because of two stupid grown men.’ Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper.

Both imbeciles were transported to the Nassau County Jail and charged with Second Degree attempted murder.
