If the name sounds familiar, it’s because the counterfeit Doogie Howser was arrested in 2016 when he was 18 for pretending to be a doctor and treating patients after opening The New Birth New Life Medical Center, where he identified himself as “Dr. Love.” He was arrested after the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s narcotics unit and the Florida Department of Health carried out an undercover operation where he examined and prescribed treatment to an undercover police officer who was impersonating a patient.
In a show of stupidity, Love-Robinson received a cease-and-desist notice from the Florida Department of Health in 2015 accusing him of practicing Medicine without a license which he ignored. Pro Tip Malachi, if you are put on notice like that, Stop! That was a get-out-of-jail-free card, and you ignored it.
Malachi Love-Robinson, 25, received a sentence of over two years and four months last week after pleading guilty in Palm Beach County, Florida, to grand theft and organized scheme to defraud, according to WBRC news,

Love-Robinson was also arrested in Virginia while out on bail for signing an elderly patient’s name on a car loan without him knowing. He spent a year in jail there. He then returned to Florida, did time for the previous Florida charges, and was released in 2019.
According to the arrest affidavit for the current grift, Love-Robinson was working at a Delray Beach Business as a contracted employee for a shipping broker. In 2020, he was caught diverting payments from that business to his bank account.
The business caught him in the act and called the police. Love-Robinson pleaded with the business owner via text message to let him know he would make it right. When he didn’t repay, the employer showed screenshots of the text messages to Delray Beach police investigators.
Love Robinson is waiting for transfer to a State Correctional facility after he was sentenced to 2 years and four months.
