Donald Trump Says He Will Be Arrested Tuesday, Calls For Protests

Former president Donald Trump said that leaked information indicates he will be arrested on Tuesday, following reports that the Manhattan District Attorney’s office is preparing to issue an indictment regarding an alleged “hush money” payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016. Trump posted about the possible arrest on Truth Social Saturday morning and called upon his supporters to protest.

“THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”

Trump wrote Saturday morning that he had received “ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE.” Trump added that the Manhattan DA’s office, run by bail reform champion Alvin Bragg,

“HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE.”

The pending indictment is said to stem from an alleged “hush money” payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016, who claims to have had an affair with Trump ten years earlier. Daniels reportedly received $130,000 from Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen to keep her quiet during his 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump has adamantly denied the allegations.

In a statement to Fox News, Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said,

“President Donald J. Trump is completely innocent, he did nothing wrong, and even the biggest, most Radical Left Democrats are making that clear.”
