Donald Jr. Teases His Father With Picture of Trump Baby Blimp-‘Not gonna lie… this is funny.’
Donald Trump Jr. enjoyed a laugh at his father’s expense after retweeting a meme depicting the 45th president as a chubby balloon baby. The original Tweet suggested that the balloon be flown over Beijing in retaliation for the Chinese spy balloon that invaded U.S. skies. The self-described “Meme War General” teased his dad and said about the photo, “Not gonna lie… this is funny.”

The “Trump baby blimp” first went viral in 2018. It was floated during then-President Trump’s visit to London and was intended to be a not-so-warm welcome.
The United States Air Force shot down the Chinese spy balloon on Feb. 4 after drifting across the United States for more than a week. The country has been in a frenzy over the incident. The White House has been derided for allowing the Chinese to conduct espionage uninterrupted. Congressmen have called for an immediate national security briefing on the event. Secretary of State Antony Blinken canceled a state trip to China. One congressman speculated that the balloon may have been carrying “bioweapons.”

But Donald Junior has been able to extract a heavy dose of humor from the situation.
“If Joe Biden and his administration are too weak to do the obvious and shoot down an enemy surveillance balloon, perhaps we just let the good people of Montana do their thing… I imagine they have the capability and the resolve to do it all themselves,” the younger Trump tweeted last week, suggesting Americans get out their guns and take matters into their own hands.

“Why doesn’t someone just tell Joe Biden the Chinese spy balloon is unvaxxed… They’d put so many holes in it it wouldn’t stand a chance.”

In response to a tweet suggesting a circus clown would have handled the situation better than the White House, Trump Jr. tweeted, “True story.”

He took a couple of swipes at Eric Swalwell, referencing the Democrat congressman’s relationship with a Chinese spy, known commonly by the name “Fang Fang.”

Swalwell was booted from the House Intel committee last month by Speaker Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy said he made the decision with the recommendation of the FBI.
Trump Jr. did offer some serious commentary during the situation, tweeting on Sunday, “If you guys think the Chinese spy balloon was bad… Just wait until you find out about TikTok… Wake up, America””’‘CFO Patronis: The Legislature Must Ban TikTok from K-12 School”
If you guys think the Chinese spy balloon was bad… Just wait until you find out about TikTok. While I understand the outrage about someone violating our airspace the Chinese government has been doing this for years on millions of phones throughout the country. Wake up America.

Many Republican lawmakers have called for the White House to take action against the Chinese-controlled social media platform. The FBI has previously indicated that the Chinese government may be spying on Americans through the app, which more than 70 million citizens use. Several congressmen have proposed legislation that would federally ban TikTok in the United States.
