When the incident was reported, Vega was questioned by Orange County Deputies. After reading Diaz Vega his Miranda rights, deputies say he admitted to taking upskirt videos of female guests in the gift shop for about the last six years, accumulating over 500 videos.
The arrest affidavit says that on March 31, security guards tracked down one of Vega’s victims and told her someone had been caught taking an image under her dress at Dok-Ondar’s. The 18-year-old victim did not know that Vega had filmed an upskirt video of her.
During the interview, Vega willingly showed the detectives multiple examples of the videos he spoke about in the interview via his phone in the image gallery.
Detectives reviewed the videos and noted they showed multiple females who all appeared unaware they were being video recorded.
