Disney Chief Diversity Officer Resigns as Woke Projects Fail Miserably

According to a leaked internal memo from entertainment giant Disney, Chief Diversity Officer Latondra Newton has officially tended her resignation – ending nearly seven years of employment. Newton’s tenure saw Disney experience a gradual decline as progressive messaging became its modus operandi.

The former executive is reportedly planning to serve on the board of another organization and focus her efforts on a self-owned company.

A portion of the memo given to the DEI and HR team is shown below.

“Since joining the company in 2017, Latondra has led the company’s strategic diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, including partnering with stakeholders across the enterprise to amplify stories of the world by people around the world. Working in concert with Disney Producer Latoya Raveneau, Latondra Newton has spearheaded the inclusion of a “not-so-secret” gay agenda in films meant for young children.

Newton’s failures extend beyond PR blunders, however. Since her reign started, fans have become increasingly reluctant to hand over their hard-earned cash to watch poorly written movies with radical-left messaging.

Under her watch, Disney has created several catastrophic box office blunders in the last five years, collectively losing hundreds of millions of dollars. Movies like “Turning Red,” “Mulan,” and “Strange World” were the most overt displays of Disney’s commitment to woke messaging and lost the company a combined 550 million dollars.

Disney’s streaming service, Disney+, has also been subject to extreme budget cuts in the face of dwindling subscribers. According to Variety, the streaming service cut more than two dozen movies and TV shows to stop the financial bleeding – a measure that cost the company more than one and a half billion dollars.

Despite the immense financial hardship, the “happiest place on Earth” has yet to renounce its commitment to the left in America’s ongoing culture war.

Onlookers have suggested solutions to the company’s distress: making movies that a regular American of any race can relate to and would be interested in seeing.

“Disney should stop trying to pander to the few loud voices on social media that do not represent the rest of the US general audience. Even those ‘minority’ races they are pandering to are sick of race swapping and want new original ‘minority’ characters.” ~@HW_Ryuken04 on Twitter


Others were less concerned with Disney’s current failing state, instead celebrating the departure of the chief diversity officer.

“Go woke… go broke. I’m sure she’s got companies knocking at her door for her to write them “diverse and inclusive” woke stories… right?”
