Democrats Blame ‘White Supremacy’ After 5 Black Cops Beat A Black Man to Death
Democrats everywhere are sounding the alarm about white supremacy following the brutal police killing of Tyre Nichols… even after video footage revealed that all involved parties were black.

Memphis police released four videos of the assault on Friday. Officers could be seen ordering Nichols out of his vehicle at a traffic stop, before brutally beating, pepper spraying, and Tasing him. Nichols was committed to a hospital on Jan. 7 and died three days later from his injuries. The five officers now face murder charges.
Most of the public had the common sense to condemn the attack, but many democrats chose to stoke racial division instead, despite Nichols and the officers all being the same race.
Florida congressman Maxwell Frost wasted no time tweeting, “Doesn’t matter what color those police officers are. The murder of Tyre Nichols is anti-Black and the result of white supremacy.”
He deleted the tweet shortly after.
Later, he gave it another shot, tweeting, “To deny the anti-Blackness and white supremacy undergirding our justice system is to blind yourself from reality.”
In an equally incoherent tweet, former congressman Mondaire Jones said that “If you think the Memphis police officers had to be white in order to exhibit anti-Blackness, you need to take that AP African American Studies course Ron DeSantis just banned.”

Jones was referencing a new College Board course that was recently blocked in Florida. The advanced placement curriculum includes subjects such as “Black Queer Studies” and “Intersectionality and Activism.” Matt Walsh ripped Jones for his comments.

If you blame white supremacy for black on black crime, you’ve probably taken way too many of those kinds of courses https://t.co/oifWWjba8e

CNN’s Van Jones charged out of the gate with an op-ed entitled The police who killed Tyre Nichols were Black. But they might still have been driven by racism.
“At the end of the day, it is the race of the victim who is brutalized – not the race of the violent cop – that is most relevant… It’s hard to imagine five cops of any color beating a White person to death under similar circumstances. And it is almost impossible to imagine five Black cops giving a White arrestee the kind of beat-down that Nichols allegedly received”
White cops killing a black man is white supremacy, but black cops killing a black man is… also white supremacy. And when black cops don’t kill a white man, that’s also somehow white supremacy.
Filmmaker Bree Newsom Bass explains how this is possible, tweeting that “Racism is what policing is.”
Diversifying the police force doesn’t end racism because racism is inherent to the organization of the institution & its daily operation. Racism is what policing is

The Atlantic’s Jemele Hill agreed, saying,
“The entire system of policing is based on white supremacist violence.”
I need so many people to understand this regarding Tyre Nichols. Several of the police officers who murdered Freddie Gray were Black. The entire system of policing is based on white supremacist violence. We see people under the boot of oppression carry its water all the time. https://t.co/H11cuzHPxC

Others balked at the absurdity of the idea,
Not understanding how everything is caused by white supremacy is one of the side effects of being a victim of white supremacy. https://t.co/ETE8L0EoqD

Hmm… I’ve got 44 years’ worth of Black experience on this planet and I don’t understand how white supremacy or “anti-blackness” ties into this situation.
So please, oh wise white guy… explain it to me. I’d love to be educated by someone such as yourself.

I can't take anyone who thinks 'white supremacy' is a major problem in 2023 seriously.

No whites had anything to do with Tyre Nichols death, so why are they ranting about this being the result of ‘white supremacy?’ Do they not understand how unhinged this is?

Anti-police demonstrations continued over the weekend. Protesters smashed an NYPD cruiser in Times Square on Friday. The week before, six rioters were arrested in Atlanta carrying explosives. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp declared a state of emergency in response. One thousand Georgia National Guard troops were activated. A Fox News report stated that police departments in Austin, Texas, Los Angeles, California, and Washington, D.C., are also bracing for violence in their cities.
