Broward Man Arrested in Disappearance and Murder of His Wife
Broward man Jose Luis Pacheco, 36 is in the Dade County Jail charged with 2nd degree murder of his wife Mimose Dulcio. The case started with a missing person alert for Dulcio that was issued on Saturday, November 12th, after she disappeared on November 10th. Family members were worried as they had not seen her in 2 days. Pacheco was supposed to come to the residence to pick up his belongings.

Family members went to her residence to check on her and when no one answered, they kicked in the door. Once inside they found both of Dulcio’s cell phones destroyed, as well as the home surveillance system.
Broward County Sheriff missing persons investigators started the investigation into Dulcio’s disappearance and quickly transferred the case to Homicide Unit detectives. Detectives met with Pacheco, who told them he did not know the whereabouts of his wife and did not see her for days. Pacheco also told them that the couple were in the process of getting divorced.

The detectives obtained a search warrant and after searching the home, gave them evidence leading them to believe that that Dulcio was murdered in their central Broward County home, and that Pacheco used their vehicle to transport and dispose of her body in an unknown location.
On November 14th, an arrest warrant was issued for Pacheco, and he was picked up in Hialeah. He is currently being held without bond on a charge of 2nd degree murder awaiting transfer to the Broward County Jail.
