Anti-Woke Education Activist Andrew Gutmann Raises Over $300,000 in Bid To Unseat Lois Frankel
Andrew Gutmann Amasses over $300,000 During First Quarter; Solidifies Frontrunner Status to Challenge Lois Frankel in FL CD 22
The political newcomer outraised his Republican challengers as well as the deeply entrenched Democratic incumbent this quarter with his message of fighting wokeness, advancing sane economic policy, and preserving American values.
West Palm Beach, FLA, July 17, 2023 – Andrew Gutmann, the anti-woke education activist, businessman, and author who launched his campaign for Florida’s 22nd Congressional District in late April, announced today his campaign has stockpiled over $300,000 in his effort to take on Lois Frankel, a 6-term progressive Democrat. Gutmann outpaced his closest Republican challenger 4 to 1 on individual contributions.
Gutmann burst onto the national scene two years ago after he mailed a letter to every family of his daughter’s New York City private school objecting to the school’s divisive obsession with race and identity, and its adoption of far-left activism and what we now call woke ideology. The letter served to ignite the broader parent’s movement and the fight against progressive indoctrination in schools.

“Voters in the district are excited to have a candidate who can take on Lois Frankel and the Democratic Party, who have repeatedly proven they have lost touch with the values of everyday Americans,” Gutmann said. “The enthusiasm from all over the country has been incredible as people endorse our message of getting far-left racial and gender ideology out of schools, championing opportunities for small businesses, protecting girl’s sports and spaces, and strengthening our military.”
Florida’s 22nd congressional district encompasses West Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington, Greenacres, Lantana, and parts of Boca Raton. Palm Beach County has been getting better and better for Republican candidates. In 2022, the county voted Republican for governor for the first time in nearly 40 years.
“Major demographic shifts and the Democratic Party’s radical shift to the left has made this race winnable for the first time in a very long time,” Gutmann added. “I am the right candidate, at the right time, to bring sane representation back to this district.”
Gutmann, whose career also includes serving as a Federal Reserve analyst, investment banker, entrepreneur, and software developer, promises to stand up courageously and honestly for children and families, fight for constitutionally protected liberties, combat inflation and out-of-control debt, and be a steadfast supporter of America’s key allies, most importantly, Israel.
“Our message is clearly resonating,” Gutmann concluded. “And we are just getting started!”
