Only a couple of months after his conviction for a 2018 sexual assault, the former “NewsRadio” Star and comedian Andy Dick, 57, of Hemet, is once again in trouble with the law.

Deputies with the Riverside Sheriff’s department were dispatched to Ohara’s Rock & Roll Tavern in Lake Elsinore, California, in reference to a drunken male who may also have been under the influence of drugs.
Upon arrival, the deputies contacted the man and discovered that the suspect was comedian Andy Dick. While performing the usual teletype check on Dick, it was revealed that Dick was not up to date on his sex offender registration. Dick was put on the offender list due to an April 2018 incident where he grabbed the crotch of an Uber driver. Dick received a 90-day sentence for that case but was released early.

Dick was arrested for public intoxication and failure to update his sexual offender registration. Under Penal Code section 290, California State law requires that registrants keep authorities informed of where they’re residing.

Dick has made a habit of being arrested for strange reasons. In May of 2022, Dick was arrested in Orange County after allegedly applying lotion or lubrication on another man’s buttocks while asleep. That case was dismissed after the man stopped cooperating with the police.
In October 2022, he was arrested on burglary charges in Santa Barbara when he was caught stealing power tools from a residential job site.
In 2010, he was charged with sexual abuse for allegedly fondling a man in West Virginia, and in 2008 he was arrested for allegedly pulling down a teenage girl’s top.
He was detained without incident. Dick was transported to the Riverside County Jail and released a few hours later after posting a $5,000 bond.
