DeSantis beat challenger Charlie Crist by 19 percentage points, even according to CNN politics. In his victory speech, DeSantis reiterated what he campaigned on, touting his achievements and resolving to continue defending freedom.

“Florida is where woke goes to die.”

In his victory, DeSantis did manage to flip the historically liberal county of Miami-Dade.

Rapid Response Director Christina Pushaw attributes the victory primarily to DeSantis’s education policy and anti-mandate approach to COVID-19.

The popularity of DeSantis’ education policy was proven by all of his endorsed school board candidates winning their races.

Floridians replied to celebrate DeSantis’s victory of well over 1 million votes.

Senator Marco Rubio also trounced his opponent, beating Democrat Val Demings by roughly 7%.

In his victory speech, Rubio celebrated America’s founding principles and reiterated the protection of the family as his top priority.

Rubio’s win garnered similar online support as DeSantis’.

Conservative Media company Dialy Wire tweeted a reaction that sums up how the candidates and Floridians feel after Election Day in Florida.
