A New York City resident and mother of a criminally murdered veteran spoke out against New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his refusal to fight crime. The Soros-backed district attorney, who recently “stacked” 34 felony charges against President Trump, is reputed for reducing felony charges to misdemeanors, according to Fox News.
The mother, Madeline Brame, said her veteran son was killed in a 2018 Harlem stabbing. Brame joined Fox and Friends to react to Bragg’s recent parroting of “no one is above the law” rhetoric.
“If no one is above the law, then I don’t understand how Alvin Bragg could dismiss murder and gang assault indictments against two of the people involved in the murder of my son.”
The woman said that only the killer was punished – with the most severe charges dropped against the killer’s accomplices; of the four who attacked him, only one received felony charges.
Brame strongly criticized Bragg’s “woke” approach to criminal justice. Calling herself a proud black conservative, Brame feels that Bragg’s policies – from criminal justice to indicting Trump – have been disastrous for the city.
“They’re being released from the precincts with a desk appearance ticket and a referral to a community-based organization that has shown no measurable outcomes of effectiveness of what they’re doing with our millions and billions of tax dollars.”
Despite his position supposedly working to punish criminality, Bragg has overseen a historic rise in New York City crime. According to a Fox News Publication, Bragg had overseen the committing of 112,755 crimes in 2022 – a more than 10 percent increase from the previous year, before he was elected.

49-year-old Bragg was elected on a “criminal justice reform” platform and indicting President Trump.

Alvin Bragg’s comprehensive plan for making New York City more “equitable” also included the introduction of cashless bail for many violent crimes, including armed robbery. One of his first actions in office was a memo to the district attorney’s office instructing them to only jail perpetrators of the most heinous crimes, such as murder or sexual assault.
In other words, Bragg has willingly and unapologetically turned New York City into a vast and dangerous hub of thieves, muggers, and brigands.

Brame attributed the massive spike in New York City crime to the poor policymaking of Alvin Bragg.

Despite the rising crime, Alvin Bragg has shown no acknowledgment of his policies’ failures or any indication that he will change them in response to the crime wave sweeping over the city.
